How FSN works

One guided path, with you in charge of every step.

FSN turns a scattered search-and-paperwork process into one guided path. Tell FSN about your family once, approve what it may reuse, see support that may fit, understand what is still unknown, and prepare the next step without starting over each time.

Four steps, and you approve each one

The same four stages every time, whichever kind of support you are pursuing — and each one ends with a decision that is yours.

  1. Tell FSN about your family once

Record the facts and support needs that matter to your family — the things every form asks for again. Nothing is reused anywhere in FSN until you have approved it.

  2. See support that may fit

FSN compares what researched programs ask for with the family information you approved, instead of leaving you to search every system separately. What it cannot check, it says it cannot check — a match is a starting point, not a guarantee.

  3. Understand why, and what still needs attention

See why a program may fit, why it may not, and what FSN could not determine and still needs from you. Every result says whether applications are open, closed, upcoming — or not yet established — and links to the official source.

  4. Prepare the next step, and keep watching

Prepare the application from approved facts, and keep watching programs that are closed until a future cycle. FSN fills in the answers it can, names the fact behind each one, leaves the rest for you to write, and sends nothing.

You review it, you sign it, and you send it — FSN submits nothing.

FSN prepares; you decide what happens next, every time.

More than paperwork.

Discovery comes first. Application help follows.

  • Discover support you may never have heard about

FSN brings researched opportunities together so families do not have to depend only on social media, word of mouth, or hours of searching.

  • Understand what may fit

FSN compares program criteria with information you approve and explains why something may fit, what may prevent eligibility, and what is still unknown.

  • Prepare the next step

When a program looks promising, FSN reuses approved facts so you start closer to a finished application — and you are the only one who ever sends it.

  • Keep watching

Closed or upcoming opportunities stay visible, so your family knows they exist and can watch for the next cycle.

  • Take your family's story with you

Approved family information can also be organized into a Care Passport, so changing doctors, adding a specialist or starting with a new therapist does not begin with rebuilding years of history from memory.

A match is a starting point, not a guarantee.

FSN may call a program a likely fit, a possible fit, something that needs more information from you, a likely non-fit, not currently open — or simply not yet evaluated. It shows the reasons behind that result and links to the official program source. Programs make their own eligibility and award decisions.
